Doubt it will fly. When it comes to the desire to ban guns, it's mandatory to be blissfully ignorant, otherwise one would have to admit that that everything that kills far more people would need banning too.

Which leads to statements like, in on breath, "police are fascist pigs that just want to kill brown people", and in the next breath, "only police should have guns".
