CONCH KEY (CBSMiami) A lower Florida Keys woman known as the sea hag reportedly shot a man to death Sunday night because he refused to giver her a beer.
Carolyn Dukeshire, 62, has been charged with first degree murder.
Monroe County Sheriffs deputies were sent to #53 North Conch Avenue on Conch Key after someone reported a shooting. When they arrived they found 64-year old Martin Mazur suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
According to a witness, Dukeshire shot Mazur five times in the abdomen, back and arm after he refused to give her a beer ...

... Just before the shooting, according to authorities, Dukeshire reportedly asked Mazur, "Do you have a cold beer for me?" He reportedly replied, "I have absolutely nothing for you."
That's when, investigators say, Dukeshire, who reportedly had done some lobster-trap work for Mazur in the past, shot Mazur twice in the lower right abdomen, twice in the back and once in the right wrist.
It happened a little after 7 p.m. at Mazur's house, 53 N. Conch Ave. He was later pronounced dead at Fishermen's Hospital ...
Mazur's reported business partner, Casey Whippo, 30, witnessed the shooting and .... said Dukeshire threw the gun into a canal behind the house during the struggle. Sheriff's Office divers found the small-caliber handgun in the water the next day ...
