HOUMA, La. (AP) - Terrebonne Parish authorities say a man was arrested after gunfire broke out during a brawl early Sunday morning.
The Courier reports Tony James, 32, of Houma was arrested after shots were fired in a commercial area on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
Sheriff's deputies say James fired into a crowd of bystanders about 2:30 a.m., wounding a 19-year-old man.
Authorities did not identify the victim, who was reported in critical condition ...

... Tony James, 32, of 105 Mall Circle, fired into a crowd of bystanders amid a series of 2:30 a.m. brawls near the Waffle House, hitting a 19-year old man, according to the Terrebonne Sheriff's Office.
Police did not identify the victim, who remained in critical condition this morning with a severed artery in his leg.
James was arrested and charged with one count of attempted-second-degree murder and one count of illegal discharge of a firearm. Bond had not yet been set ...
