... Markedrik Delmar Wilson, 26, was arrested about 8:40 p.m. after a witness identified him as one of five men who forced their way into the Rev. Kenneth Brooks' home in the 2700 block of North Denver Avenue shortly before 2 a.m. that morning, according to police and reports.
One of the men shot Brooks point-blank in the chest and then the group fled, police said. Brooks was taken to St. John Medical Center and was expected to survive.
Wilson and Joeiune Deonte Nelson, 21, who was arrested about 12:50 p.m. Tuesday, were booked into the Tulsa Jail on robbery-related complaints and are not accused of shooting Brooks.
Brooks told police that his door was kicked in only moments after he let in a 16-year-old acquaintance who had come there "seeking some kind of help, whether it was financial or advice," Cpl. Mark Shelton said ...

Kenneth Brooks and the first-degree burglary of his home in the 2700 block of North Denver Avenue on July 31, court records show. Boyd also faces a charge of shooting with intent to kill.
