OKAY Law enforcement officers were called to the Okay Fire Department Tuesday evening after a man arrived and said he had been shot ...
Residents filled nearby parking lots at the E-Z Mart convenience store and across the street at the Okay Tag Agency. Traffic was blocked from proceeding down Oklahoma 16. Streets surrounding the Okay Fire Department also were blocked. The brown pickup the man drove to the fire department remained in the driveway with the driver's door standing open.
Shortly after 8:30 p.m., the helicopter carrying the injured man lifted from the highway.
Okay Police Chief Fred Winters said the man was still alive, but he did not know the man's name. The man was able to tell emergency personnel the name of the man that shot him, Winters said.

Truman reportedly told Dickerson he had permission from the land owner to take the hay, which was baled earlier Tuesday. An argument ensued, and Dickerson told deputies Truman wielded a shovel, so he shot him.
"Everybody needs to get ready and look at the bigger picture, because we're getting ready to see a lot more of this," Colbert said. "We're already seeing hay-stealing and cattle theft. The heat, the temperatures, the drought, the rising prices that it would evolve into a gun it's so stupid." ...
