41. Doesn't surprise me.

Jan 2012

I've never carried a fire extinguisher in a vehicle. Never had one in any house or apartment I've owned or rented. Never had a fire. Call me reckless. I don't live in fear. I live in awareness and responsibility. If you were attacked in an empty street, who would be attacking you? Have you ever been attacked on any street? If so, I'd be questioning the reasons for the attack, rather than carrying a gun for the next one.

If someone wants to shoot me, it's probably going to happen, regardless of whether I am armed. Can't think of any reason why anyone would want to shoot me. If I could, then I would be thinking about eliminating that reason.

I read the transcript, this is the best part: MicaelS Jan 2012 #1

Non sequitur (it does not follow). X_Digger Jan 2012 #27
"What does the percentage of guns used in crime have to do with carrying (or not)?" Starboard Tack Jan 2012 #28
No, you asked about 'most'.. when shown how rarely most guns or gun owners are used in crime.. X_Digger Jan 2012 #33
Yes, they DO look great! Atypical Liberal Jan 2012 #29
How many people are killed by spare tires and smoke detectors. Starboard Tack Jan 2012 #31
No, your question is lame, because those things have little or nothing to do with crimes. PavePusher Jan 2012 #34
"Ad nauseum" is right. Totally false analogy. Starboard Tack Jan 2012 #35
How so? PavePusher Jan 2012 #39
Now you've moved the goalposts. Atypical Liberal Jan 2012 #37
No, you moved the goalposts. I stayed on topic. Starboard Tack Jan 2012 #38

Exactly. The few on this board may be wonderful carriers, it's all the others that are an issue. Hoyt Jan 2012 #18

Not true. People are much less likely to get shot by someone who doesn't walk around with a gun. Hoyt Jan 2012 #32
But you don't live in a society where people don't walk around with guns! Atypical Liberal Jan 2012 #36
First, glad you finally see non-toters are less likely to shoot you. Hoyt Jan 2012 #42

Sorry, guns are not analogous to computers. Hoyt Jan 2012 #19
