I finally filed a claim with the VA [View all]

through the WA state Department Of Veterans. I never thought it would be honored, but it was.

I have to say things went very smoothly. I filed in March and received my 10% disability notification in June and my first check in July. I then received a phone call from the company that manages the Veterans choice Program. I had an appointment in early August and now have a follow up next month authorizing all sorts of routine Xrays, tests etc.

So far, much better than my current company paid health care.
