the last of the Lasagna I made the other day. Best pan of lasagna I'd made in a long time! I've been cleaning since then. A little bit here, a little bit there, trying to get it done before my body gives out on it completely tonight.

I've got a little pass-thru room I want to get to tonight that's become a junk room. I want to clean it out so I can set it up as a candle making room. Since I retired a couple of years ago, I've just been drifting. I need to dig in and find something I can do to feel productive and satisfied again. Making a bit of money to augment SS would be a nice plus, too! I used to love making candles. I'm hoping I can get back in where I left off without too much regaining of the learning curve. There are so many cute molds out there now, as opposed to what there was when last I was doing it.

The molds are also good for making soaps. Thought I might give that a try, too. Had thought about picking up a part-time, remote job but my resume typecasts me as a network engineer and I really want something much more lowkey and less stressful. All I'm getting is fulltime with lots of travel attached. Mostly network engineering and/or network security. Good money; lots of stress. I'm too old for that and my fibromyalgia just doesn't respond well to those situations. I'd much rather sit and type or maintain a CMS or LMS.

So, I'm cleaning and dreaming right now, I guess. Ideas are welcome... how did ya'll make the transition from hard charging Type A work life to retirement? I'm dying of boredom right now! Thank goodness I love to read! (LOL)
