I'm from San Diego, CA and I get to see the White-tailed Kites when I visit my family there. There are very few White-tailed Kites here in Florida but I've yet to see one.

In Brevard County I mostly see Swallow-tailed Kites over or west of I-95. One flew over my car today when I was near Cocoa on I-95 while driving to River Lake Conservation Area, which is west of Viera. I lived in the area for a few years before I saw my first Swallow-tailed Kite in the county.
