13. Let me be a bit more clear....

My sister is the one who married the fundy. Her GRAND daughter - my niece's daughter is the 3 year old in question.

So I suppose the 3 year old is my Grand Niece.

My niece married a guy whose religious predilections are unknown to me, outside of the fact that he is taking his wife and child to church. I have met the young man and...well...he ain't the sharpest tool in the shed, to be sure.

At least it is an Episcopal church. That's a far cry from the 10K year old earth crowd. Episcopalians, by and large, tend to be a bit more rational than your average Southern Baptist!

There are a few other troubling things too, like the posts of her wearing an apron and baking cookies with her paternal grandmother. it is harmless, I suppose, but it is a stereotype being forced on her - a woman's place is in the kitchen - that sort of thing that also bothers me.

But yes, I'll be here for her to answer questions honestly as long as I live.
