(42,862 posts)I'm not responsible for your decisions.
Yes, Bernie had "a chance" but he couldn't find a path to success. How is that my fault, or Hillary's fault, or the fault of his supporters or Hillary's supporters. It's just politics. Hillary played the game better and now she'll be the nominee. I'm sure it's disappointing, but it just doesn't make sense to BLAME and HATE Hillary or her supporters because Bernie failed in his attempt.
He may have been "viable" (for a brief time) but he failed to turn it into something that would be successful. That's nobody's fault but his own (or his campaign's, depending.) Frankly, if he couldn't beat Hillary, then there's no way he could ever hope to stand up against Trump. I guess that's the reason we have primaries. A trial run. Not bad for his first foray into national politics, but Hillary's experience and ground game won the day.
So, in spite of the many productive choices available to you, it appears that you've narrowed down the possibilities to those that are fed by grief, anger, disappointment and denial.
You appear to be an intelligent person, so I'll just have to trust that you're making the best decisions for you and whatever makes you feel better. If you believe that "punishing" the party (or the nation) is the best course of action, well, that's your choice.
After you've calmed down, I'd welcome your support for Hillary and the party. But if you choose not to, if you choose to oppose us, or fight against us, you should be aware that I do not care. Do as you please. We'll manage without you somehow.
Peace.
