(154,021 posts)And it got so personal I know that I will never, ever join the Democratic Party. Nor the Republicans, and ironically it is not just policy. Trust me, there are vast stellar units between me and republicans, and oceans between me and core Neoliberal democrats...I don't grock two right wing parties.
It is policy...but when democrats behave exactly like republicans on a personal level...why bother joining and trying to work within a party? And anyway as media I have considered the step Severay and others have in the past. We cover these idiots after all...and I mean politicians.
In November, just like this time, I will pretend, I don't expect my vote to count. Who I support is determined by who counts the votes, nor will I say who I pretended to vote for. This primary revealed this to be a deep systemic problem, and both sides pretend to be annoyed.
Some folks here were just uglier than usual. And those, I will never forgive or forget. Someday, perhaps, they will think about this. But if all those swords of Damocles are indeed issues, and there are reasons to believe they are...well as New Jersey said after 1972... Don't blame those who tried to warn you.
