I didn't know him, either, but didn't automatically form a negative idea about him. Then, when I heard him speak, I immediately thought of the comments about him being boring. Comments made out of ignorance and a bit of spite, I guess.
What's really funny is over at another website that was started recently. There, you'd never know that anyone named Kaine spoke at all today. There must be a disconnect going on, somehow.
