is how they think "Obamacare" + a "public option" is fine for the elderly but not o.k. for everybody else? If anything, the situation should actually be reversed. Although I think that a "Medicare-for-all" single payer system should be implemented for EVERYBODY, "Obamacare" makes way more sense for younger adults because medical expenses are, in most cases, much less (in terms of need) than for the elderly, and they can afford to pay more out of their pockets for health insurance than retired elderly persons living on a fixed income can. Medicare- in its current form- is plenty fixable if you had people working together whom actually agree that preserving Medicare in its current form is the desired outcome. Republicans have wanted to kill Medicare for decades and they are eager to declare that Medicare is broken and just kill it. The Republicans, as usual, have everything a**-backwards.
