I got angry last night about seeing a string of posts resurrecting the claim that Clinton is much more a progressive champion for social justice and racial justice, and Bernie "only has himself to blame" for not faring better with AA votes because of his so-called lack of concern for them. And that it was unimportant that he got arrested to protest segregation and went to the March on Washington, and has been fighting for social justice ever since.
And in my anger, I posted something that maybe I shouldn't have.
I was trying to remember what great causes Clinton had championed to justify that. But it brought to mind the great Triangulation campaign of 1996, where the Clinton's and Dick Morris stuck with VChips and School Uniforms and other plain vanilla moderate/conservative positions to avoid dealing with any real issues or advocating any real social programs.
So I posted something that I remembered at the time as having a racial connotation, regarding the campaign platform about School Uniforms.
I shouldn't have put it in that context.
Maybe I was being too touchy and a little gratuitous. If people want to support Clinton, I know that's just a choice.
But my dander gets up when I see distortions about Sanders and claims that totally disregard a guy wo has been foghting for real issues to raise up AAs and everybody all his life.
