People here mocked Hillary for her "listening tours," but first it got her elected as Senator because she learned the specific issues of the constituents she wanted to serve.
When she did the same thing on this presidential run, the same voices at DU mocked the strategy. But what I noticed is that she learned that heroin is a surging problem in small town America. I knew this because I read the LA Times and remember public health issues. But again, at DU, the first reactions were to scoff when Hillary was asked what she thought was on people's minds and she said, "Heroin." But she is right, and she learned because she listened.
Bernie is not a bad guy. He is really a rock, a pillar, and has known where he stands for 60 years.
On the other hand, Hillary is a tree that is still growing and sending out new branches and leaves.
Think about the difference.
