could never vote for someone from Wisconsin, but that's part of human nature -- some are genetically loaded with strong doses of antagonism to what is seen as different. All we can do is try to tamp it down. Regarding that last, like you I do think environmental factors are "maturing." We may be only averaging 687 steps forward for 686 steps back, but it's progress.

Regarding southern, I was fascinated to learn that people and societies in hotter climates average more conservative than in cooler around the planet, not just in our country. Something to do with societal survival in challenging conditions. I know many of my fellow Southerners would not be happy to have their conservatism described as having a common root with that of North Africa and the Middle East, but so it is.

I would vote for Hillary if she is the nominee. This should be a no brainer here. Mass Nov 2015 #1
