I am also a cruising sailor and haven't run into anyone else here that is, so I am particularly happy to see you here.
We have been in Mexico since October and loving it. Plan to spend this winter exploring the Sea of Cortez.
We are a bit older than you and have our eyes open for the next step. Living off the grid somewhere in Central America is definitely topping the list.
