I'm not sure why it's making the rounds again. Still, I guess it can't hurt to reread it. People need to be aware.

As an update, there were other charges like secretly videotaping the woman, but all but one of the charges were dropped due to lack of a proper warrant. https://www.laweekly.com/news/man-who-allegedly-tried-to-roofie-woman-in-bar-will-stand-trial-for-poisoning-7980864

I couldn't find what ultimately happened to him. He still had the serious charge of trying to drug the woman.
