The Invisible Man (2020) easily aligns with a top 15 list of psycho-thrillers. (I have not yet watched: Get Out, Us, or Ma)

The reality of how frightfully entrapped by the will of others we can become is captured in the character development early, and continues seamlessly until the transition into the thriller scenes. If the film ended at this point, nearly 90 minutes in, it could stand alone as a wake up call for the abusive and overbearing to mend their ways.
