An observation about Beto and the "media darling" syndrome

2. The national media were punishing him for two things...

First, he put meeting the voters ahead of doing interviews on their shows and second...he criticized Netanyahu for embracing far right bigots in order to hold onto power in Israel. Although Beto supports Israel he said that he thinks leadership on both the Israeli and Palestinian sides right now really aren't good brokers for peace.

He has performed incredibly, his plans are great, his town halls are outstanding...but because the media has been condescending and dismissive the polls reflect that. What is happening on the ground is very different, though. The polls only reflect name recognition and what the media is pushing.
