I know he gave his apology speech that day but I wasn't sure if he'd been invited to the Essence event. Given what went down at the debate it would have awkward. But I think it would have been awkward in any event from what I could find on the website as it seemed geared toward women's fashion.

In any case, the Root piece seems to have a mainly playful intention and I agree that it's funny.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
