that you understand the electorate unless you're a pollster or something.
The trouble with believing that you have a unique understanding of everyone around you is like you isn't some form of truth. I wouldn't be able to tell you how the majority of my neighborhood votes. It's probably a mix, but I don't know what motivates people to vote or not. I live in a blue city in a red state and an African American woman -- Stacey Abrams -- came within striking distance of winning the gubernatorial election. That surprised everyone.
There will be more surprises come 2020. The primaries are already starting to show some interesting shifts.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
