In my state, WA, pot is legal and they haven't seen any pattern linking pot to an increase in crime.
And pot is still illegal for high school students, just like alcohol is. And students are smoking less pot since legalization.

Cannabis use by teenagers in Washington has dropped since the drug was legalized in 2012, according to a study published Wednesday by the Journal of the American Medical Association.
The study comprised two years of data, from 2014-2016, and showed decreases in marijuana usage by teens in middle- and high school. Use among 8th graders dropped from 9.8 to 7.3 percent over that period and among 10th graders, use fell from 19.8 to 17.8 percent. Use by seniors remained flat at just over one in four students, 26.7 percent, during that period, according the study.
Legal age to consume marijuana in Washington is 21.

The WSU study considered Washington and Colorado, as well as control states 21 states that did not legalize recreational or medical marijuana.
What we found essentially was that there was really no difference between Washington, Colorado and these states, Willits said. There are caveats we only looked at certain types of crime and marijuana has only been legal for a certain amount of time. But overall, we didnt find any consistent pattern of crime increasing or decreasing compared to the control states.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
