1. I don't want to ever live through anything

like that again. I was shell-shocked for quite some time. As bad as things seemed at the time, it just got progressively worse. Yes, Trump was far worse than I could have ever imagined.

I suppose some people thought that saner, more experienced voices would prevail and control some of his impulsive behavior, but we all underestimated him and his ability to manipulate and intimidate people. I naively thought that there would be some republican members of congress who would push back on his decisions and maintain some semblance of order and dignity. Obviously I overestimated them.

There are still days that I wake up and have a hard time believing it is all real.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
