if the economy, or at least the stock market, takes a nosedive over the summer, we're winning even if we nominate a ham sandwich.
if the economy, or at least the stock market, continues to climb, we're in big trouble even if we nominate the ghost of abraham lincoln.
so much depends on donnie going too far or the economy collapsing or or terrorist actions.
really, the only thing our choice of nominees does is change what choice of childish insults donnie uses.
now, if we win, then our choice of nominees certainly matters. but in terms of whether or not we win, i don't think it matters much at all.
remember (a) donnie cheats and (b) the media sucks at giving democrats a fair shot. our choice of nominee won't change either or those facts, at least not by november.
