(42,862 posts)It's a dangerous game. It really serves no good purpose. His top campaign staff continue their efforts at kneecapping Biden and denigrating the party. Such efforts do not help Bernie at this late date. But it does help to divide and weaken the Democratic party.
He needs to accept reality. Everyone in the real world knows that Bernie will NOT be our party's nominee. He's lost. It's over. It's BEEN over.
It's a lost cause. The voters have made it clear: We are Democrats... WE DO NOT WANT BERNIE & WE DO NOT WANT SOCIALISM.
For him to continue on his quixotic path will only create deeper divisions and distrust. His motives are suspicious and clearly do not have the best interest of the party (or the country) in mind. It only generates negativity.
Negativity generates apathy. Apathy discourages voter turnout. Low voter turnout gives Republicans a chance to steal the elections.
What good purpose does that serve. Is one person's ego and pride worth it? He needs to just swallow his pride and do the right thing.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
