Democratic Primaries

Please consider voting for Joe Biden, instead of casting a vote for Bernie Sanders, who has withdrawn from the campaign.
By voting for Joe Biden, you'll get some practice for the November general election. You'll also be silently endorsing the presumptive Democratic nominee. While voting for Bernie might make you feel like you're supporting him, really you are not doing that. Instead, you are casting a vote that is meaningless in that primary election, since Sanders has withdrawn and will not become the nominee.
I understand your frustration. I understand your sadness that Bernie will not be the nominee. Many times in my 50+ years of voting, I have voted for someone who I did not think would win, simply because that person was the Democratic nominee. I voted that way because I could do nothing else. I could not vote for a Republican, even if I knew that Republican would win in the end.
Presidential elections are binary choices, really. There are no worthwhile protest votes when it comes to that office. Even in the primary elections, voting for a withdrawn candidate is not a valid protest. It is merely a wasted opportunity.
So, please consider voting for Joe Biden. He would appreciate that, and so would I.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
