1. Sanders isn't a communist. He's not even a socialist.

That's part of his problem. He tagged himself with an inaccurate label decades ago and can't get rid of it. So now he has to somehow convince people that "socialism" is really regulated capitalism, which is what he really supports, and it's the same thing Biden and everyone else in the race supports.

But, in his never-ending need to differentiate himself and maintain his "outsider" status, he's stuck with a wrong label. And here we are.
