Police harassment ends in 170,000 dollar settlement.

Watching these cop block type videos has become somewhat of a hobby of mine. Mostly because if you watch one, you get several more sent to your news feed.

What never ceases to amaze me is cops' immaturity and all around butt hurt-ness to anyone who questions their authority.

This video is amazing. Kind of long but worth it. Basically, the guy likes to sit in his church parking lot and meditate or whatever. One night a cop approaches him and asks him for ID and he refuses. The cops get a case of the butt hurt and basically put out a hit on the guy and it becomes a game of which minion can score the most harassment charges.

I know a lot of these guys are right wingers and some bordering on Sovereign citizens.

What's frustrating and maybe a little bit frightening is many seem to blame Obama and think this police state shit just started in the last 8 years. Nobody on bullshit mountain ever explains how this shit started from Nixon, and to a greater extent, Saint Ronnie's drug war and asset forfeiture schemes.

Tell you what a dope I am - around 2000 (???) when phones where starting to come equipped with cameras. "Stupid!" I said. Who the fuck wants or needs a camera on their phone? Boy was I wrong.

Sorry about the dumb thumbnail pic. Not sure what that is about but the video is worth it.

Some updates. Charges against victim dropped. No criminal charges against cop - yet.

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – News 13 has learned a judge tossed out the DWI case against a University of New Mexico student who lost a testicle during his rough arrest caught on tape. However, it wasn’t because the Albuquerque cop is accused of kneeing the student in the groin. It was for something else the officer did.

...

Erasing that video has now led to a judge to throw out the whole case against Martin.

In court Thursday, a judge granted a motion to suppress Officer Padilla’s testimony in the DWI case because Padilla “intentionally and in bad faith destroyed evidence.”

Without Padilla’s testimony, the State couldn’t continue and moved to dismiss the case altogether, a motion the Metro Court judge approved.

Martin’s attorney, Sam Bregman, said the Albuquerque Police Department suspended Officer Padilla without pay for six weeks for excessive force but did nothing to him for destroying evidence.

And yelling run faster fatty!!! Or install a cattle prod.

That's what I would need to motivate me to run.
