Phil Robertson's Disturbing Monologue Discovered: "Marry These girls when they’re about 15 or 16"

It seems like Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson has a full repertoire of offensive comments. They are all showing up in videos. First we were made aware of his homophobic rant and racist condescension to blacks.

This new video is simply unbelievable. Does this guy forget that this is a world where everything is recorded? In the video above Phil Robertson says the following in a rather disturbing monologue:

“Now that’s a woman. They got to where they’re hard to find. Mainly because these boys are waiting til they’re twenty years old before they marry them. Look, you wait til they get to be twenty years old and the the only picking that’s going to take place is your pocket. You got to marry these girls when they’re about fifteen or sixteen and they’ll pick your ducks.”

Finally we are getting our lazy welfare recipients away from their t-bones and out of their Cadillacs. This will teach them:

Ellen Donlevy has worked more than 30 years in customer service and retail jobs.

She describes herself as a “people person” who likes the camaraderie of working with others, both colleagues and customers. At her last job, with Cox Communications, she says she was often the go-to employee who would be tapped to deal with an irate customer.

But it has been nearly a year since Donlevy has worked.

Her 26 weeks of state unemployment benefits — $411 a week before taxes — have expired, and she joins thousands of Rhode Islanders, considered the “long-term unemployed,” for whom additional, federal unemployment benefits end on Saturday.

“And yes, I’m scared,” says Donlevy.

$411 a week! I’m outraged by the government paying these people enough to pay their rent or mortgage. I for one can’t wait for the increase in the homeless population, foreclosures, domestic violence, suicides, and other social problems that result from lost income and poverty. True freedom of the New Gilded Age comes one step closer.

How To Drive Right Wing Racists Insane With One Simple Question

A question for anyone that claims to be a proud white person: What, exactly, are you proud of? I’ve asked this a few times and can’t seem to get a straight answer. Please don’t tell/ask me about black pride as it is not relevant to the question. I want to know why YOU are proud to be white. If the only way you can explain it is by comparing it to another ethnicity’s pride, you are not answering the question. Stay on topic and explain what it is about being white that fills you with pride.

Is nonconformity and freethinking a mental illness? According to the newest addition of the DSM-IV (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders), it certainly is. The manual identifies a new mental illness called “oppositional defiant disorder” or ODD. Defined as an “ongoing pattern of disobedient, hostile and defiant behavior,” symptoms include questioning authority, negativity, defiance, argumentativeness, and being easily annoyed.

Benghazi Truthers dealt a blow by months long investigation by NY Times as actual journalism rears its head.

Months of investigation by The New York Times, centered on extensive interviews with Libyans in Benghazi who had direct knowledge of the attack there and its context, turned up no evidence that Al Qaeda or other international terrorist groups had any role in the assault. The attack was led, instead, by fighters who had benefited directly from NATO’s extensive air power and logistics support during the uprising against Colonel Qaddafi. And contrary to claims by some members of Congress, it was fueled in large part by anger at an American-made video denigrating Islam.

Two things to remember if you think this Duck Dynasty thing is about anything except bigotry

1. Conservatives have rallied to Phil Robertson's defense, arguing that employers should not be allowed to fire someone for making homophobic remarks.

2. Conservatives continue to oppose the passage of the Employee Non-Discrimination Act, because they believe employers should continue to be allowed to fire someone for being gay.
