Why were Trump's lawyers so sorry?

Three-fourths of Trump supporters believe Donald Trump was cheated out of the election, according to most recent polls.

How come that in 60 attempts to persuade the courts of their "evidence", they failed in all of them?

They sounded so fiery and passionate when they were tweeting or speaking in front of a group of fellow conspiracists, but when it came time to put up or shut up in front of the judges, they had no evidence. They had no facts to back up their bluster. Perhaps it was because they were under oath when they were in front of the courts?

How come Trump did not have better lawyers?

When they go "0 for 60", that's not a very good record.

I think we all know the answers.

The problem is: It's all in his head.

He said, "Everybody knows that dead people, below age people, illegal immigrants, fake signatures, prisoners,."

He has no proof of any of that. He just makes shit up. Even if he had a few examples of that sort of voter fraud, it would not be enough to make up the 7 million vote deficit that he has in the popular vote.

He probably believes it.

The boy ain't right in the head.

What do Republicans think are Trump's "considerable achievements"?

Is it his $2 trillion dollar tax cut, mostly for his own kind?

Or is it the humongous debt he has run up in the last 4 years, even though he inherited a good economy?

Or perhaps it his negative employment rate that he is going to leave America?

Or perhaps it is his hate language and divisive rhetoric he has burdened upon us?

Maybe it is the diabolical leadership he has shown during this worldwide pandemic? ( At first, it was a Democratic "hoax" and then it was a "fake" pandemic. Now, he wants credit for the "medical miracle" of getting out the vaccine at warp speed, for a pandemic he tried to say did not exist?)

Or perhaps it is the loss of trust around the world with almost all of our Allies?

Or maybe it is the number of regulations he has done away with, in the pretext of helping his business friends "create jobs"? When the truth be known, it mostly accomplished making our water and air less pure and the earth less beautiful?

Perhaps it is the stock market? After spending 3 trillion dollars to keep the stock market up and the economy above water, at least until the election was over? Was it really that great of an accomplishment?

NOBODY IS TRYING TO STEAL ELECTION FROM DONALD TRUMP - HE IS TRYING TO STEAL ELECTION FROM EVERYBODY

That is the basic truth that every American needs to understand.

He can lie with such sincerity and does it at such a velocity that it is difficult to keep up.

But that does not change the basic truth.

Donald Trump wants to be the President from exile.

....from Mar-a-Lago.

I have said this before and I believe this is the direction he is headed.

When all of his cards have been played, he will seek to divide the country and require the Republican Party to operate out of his mansion in Florida.

This will put the Republican Party in an untenable position until they can clear up their "Trump problem". It will make legislating in Washington almost impossible.

The problem will not go away anytime soon, no matter what the Supreme Court might rule or what the voters might say.

Until justice is returned to this nation, we are likely to be embroiled in turmoil for some time to come.

Christmas Time's A Comin'

I would like to see the new AG appoint a 100-person FBI Task Force...

...to uncover the Trump Administration and all the people connected with them for the last four years.

They have earned it.

There is so much we do not know. But we need to know.

The new AG should recruit the FBI to get to the bottom of it all, no matter how long it takes.

It is for the benefit of our country and for the rule of law.

They should all understand that the FBI is on their trail and they cannot hide. Let them live in fear if they have betrayed our nation.

Why are they clinging so desperately to power ??

There must be a reason?

Are they afraid that the truth will come out?

Are they fearful of losing the gravy train they have been on for the last four years?

Are they afraid their crimes will be discovered?

It must be something very, very serious?

Tomorrow is Sunday and the next day Monday, the day the Electors vote for the new President.

Time is not going to stand still.

The Electors will do their job and time will move on.

Once the Electoral College votes on Monday, what options are left for Trump and Republicans?

Does it still have to be approved in the US Senate?

If for some reason, they voted to give the election to Trump, could the Democrats take it to the Supreme Court?

And on what grounds?

People are saying this is not the end.

It seems mighty close, in my opinion.
