How do we know that the coronavirus began in Wuhan, China?

Because that was the first casualty? Because that is where the outbreak began?

How do we know that a tourist did not carry it to China?

How do we know the person did not originate in the U.S.?

Can we really know for certain where it originated?

Someone can help us with more information?

There is no reason to vote one red cent to the corporations.

It's time for them to give back to our country.

They have exploited all the profits of the last thirty years in a way unlike any time in our history.

Workers have received very little of the huge wealth created since the beginning of the technology revolution.

In no capitalist system should the largest corporations be bailed out. There should not be a $500 billion fund specifically for these people. It would be a mistake to rush such a bill thru our Congress, in my opinion.

Message to America: Don't trust the judgement of Donald Trump.

He is not trustworthy. He lies a lot.

He is not honest.

Trust the advice of scientists and experts. This virus doesn't care if you are a Democrat or a Republican.

Use your head for something besides a hat rack.

The current Minnesota Timberwolves center announced that after falling ill early last week, his mother, Jacqueline Cruz, was not only diagnosed with COVID-19, but has since been placed in a medically induced coma.

Meanwhile, his father, Karl Towns Sr., is in a mandated home quarantine following his own test for the virus and hospital visit.

According to Towns, his mother’s condition slowly began to deteriorate as each day passed, with her temperature reaching as high as 103 degrees and falling no lower than 101.9 degrees with medicine.

“She was very uncomfortable,” he said. “Her lungs were getting worse, her cough was getting worse, she was deteriorating. … One day she was feeling great, we talked, and she felt she turned a corner. I thought she turned a corner. … Then they said she went sideways, things went sideways quick. Her lungs were getting extremely worse, she was having trouble breathing. They explained to me that she had to be put on a ventilator.”

"Fake" Stimulus

I was just watching a discussion on Lawrence O'Donnell's show and how this economic downturn was worse than the bank crash in 2008 and the stock market fall in 1987. Lawrence thought it was worse than the stock market crash of 1929.

The point that stood out for me in the discussion was that this economy cannot be stimulated in the condition that it is presently in. That is a shocking statement.

And it may be true. All the trillions of dollars that the White House and the Senate want to throw at the stock market and into the pockets of consumers will not stimulate the economy at this time. People are dying and they are afraid to leave their homes.

There will need to be more confidence and a lot less fear before we can recover from this frightening virus. The stock market has little to do with Main Street at this time.

The stock market and the economy cannot be the primary concern of our leaders in Washington. They must be focused on saving the lives of Americans. The growth line of the virus in the US has now surpassed all other nations. (The speed at which it is growing is above all other countries)

The sad fact is that Donald Trump and his sycophantic followers must get on the same song sheet as the rest of America. Going to church on Easter Sunday and praying that God will save us might not be enough. God may have given us science, and data, and knowledge for a reason?

Money cannot save us. It cannot save our economy. It cannot save our country. We must all fight this disease together or it will strike a terrible blow upon us all.

My God (Nothing is Easy)

Trump continues to divide the country over the corona virus.

It is intolerable.

We must be united if we are ever going to get out of this mess. We cannot have the leader of our country telling lies or spreading false hopes about when it is going to end or what medicines he believes will cure it.

We cannot continue to be divided.

Many of Trump's supporters still believe it is a hoax. He does not even attempt to persuade them of the seriousness of what we are facing.

He is like the leader of the band on the Titanic.

It is terrible for our country.

Why don't we do it in the road?

If a nation cares more about money than human lives...

...they will lose more human lives.

It is talk of insanity.

Disrespect for the lives of people, old or young, will not go unpunished. History shows us examples from WWI and the loss of millions of lives.

This sort of discussion should not be tolerated in our leaders.

Just my opinion.

Once the agreement is made, Trump will attempt to change it..

... to benefit himself and his family and friends.

He will create some sort of dispute after it is passed.

He will create his own loophole.

He cannot be trusted around that much money.
