The next big conspiracy theory from the Crazy Train?

It will be about the masks.

Now that the "liberals" no longer have to wear a mask, they will infect all the good conservatives that chose to not wear a mask and did not take the vaccine. Because they are now carrying the virus and will spread it to all the conservatives they come into contact with.

Everybody that was vaccinated has the virus and will kill off most of the Trump supporters if they make contact.

Actions have consequences

Think of how much better our country would be right now if we still had the "Fairness Doctrine" and if "Citizens United" had not been stamped by the Supreme Court?

Just those two actions would make a world of difference in our politics.

Although the Fairness Doctrine did not apply to "cable news", Congress could pass a law. Fox News should have opposing viewpoints when they lie continuously to the American people.

The corrupt state of money in politics could have been largely prevented if not for the Citizens United decision.

Actions have consequences.

When the hurt butts voted for Donald Trump, a sick, narcissistic psychopath, it was predictable that their votes would have consequences.

We see it every day.

It is really depressing to think that so many Americans are so naive and ignorant.

They arrested an active-duty Marine Major in Quantico, VA for participating in the Capitol Riot.

One participant said he put Donald Trump above Jesus Christ and was only following orders.

Almost every Republican in the House of Representatives is marching to the orders of the incompetent loser and liar extraordinaire from Mar-a-Lago.

The Republican voters, at large, are still following the wannabe dictator also. Facts and evidence mean nothing to them.

All of them are willing to overlook what they see with their own eyes. They choose to believe what they are told by their political leaders.

The press and the media became their enemy. If they wanted the truth, they would listen to what their Leader told them.

If that is not naive or ignorant, what would you call it?

The rest of the World looks at America as an example...

...of how a democracy can be destroyed in a few simple steps.

First of all, the voters grow disenchanted and begin to follow divisive, dishonest, autocratic-like leaders. Selfish, irresponsible Americans are easily led astray with lies and propaganda.

Secondly, they see a crisis, such as a pandemic, as an opportunity to consolidate political control. They put Party loyalists into all the important positions of government.

Thirdly, they divide the nation into camps, or Parties. Each of them demonizes the other until all communication is shut down.

Lastly, the political system breaks down and violence spreads, as goods and supplies become limited.

Is America on this path? I'm sure some of our allies probably think so.

Mizaru, Kikazaru, and Iwazaru

There is no need for Justice to charge the "former guy" with anything at this time.

But they do need to send a shot across the bow.

They need to charge someone very close to him. He needs to know that he has not been forgotten.

It would be interesting to see if the base would be so keen to defend Rudy, or Don Jr, or Roger Stone?

The January 6th assault on our Capitol simply cannot be forgotten. It should not be finished with the arrest of all the foot soldiers. The leaders, the inciters, need to be held accountable, also.

In my opinion, the Justice Dept needs to keep the pressure on these folks.

(We know they are smarter than everyone here and there is no need to ever offer them any advice. Sort of like William Mueller. No need for a reminder)

Using the phrase "The Big Lie" is minimizing the seriousness of the times.

The "Big Lie" was only the beginning.

The "Capitol Coup" was the ending.

Except it did not end.

It continues.

The "Big Lie" is only half the story.

Joe Biden could make a daring political move...

..by asking Liz Cheney to take a position in his Cabinet to show that the two Parties can and must work together at this time. He could offer an Assistant Secretary of State and Domestic Adviser positions to her. (It is doubtful that she would accept it)

But it would serve at least two purposes. It would show that President Biden is sincere when he says he wants to work with Republicans. Also, it may remove Liz Cheney from competition in the 2024 presidential race? (The old saying about a camel in the tent as opposed to the one outside the tent)

I think this would be a daring and very politically beneficial move for Joe and the Democrats. It would also be good for our country.
