Do Democrats have enough evidence to impeach ?

If so, then the question must be, why not?

Are they fearful of political consequences? If that is the case, then we should ask if these folks are truly representing our interests? Are they representing the best interests of our nation?

If they were truly representing the interests of the nation, they would not say such nonsense as, "They would never convict in the Senate".

Instead, they would implore and persuade enough Senators to vote for their country, rather than their Party. They would not surrender to their fears and political desires.

If indeed Donald Trump is as incompetent, unstable, dangerous, and unpredictable as most people believe, then do we not have a responsibility to get him out of office as soon as possible? Who should we blame for letting him continue to tear down our country and our democracy?

Who should the people blame if Donald Trump is still on the ticket in November 2020 ?

Have you thought about what you will do ....?

... if Trump wins the next election in 2020??

I know that is not something that any of us want to think about. But, it could happen.

If Mark Zuckerberg lets Trump and the Republicans use the Facebook platform in the next election, as he did in the last one, then it could very well happen again. When there are 7 million ads for Trump and only 67,000 for the Democrat, then we have some huge problems. That was the reported number of ads placed in the last election. The problem being that most of the ads are lies and propaganda, intended to divide the people of this country.

What will you do if Trump "wins" another term?

Will you double down and work twice as hard to get rid of him? Will you try to persuade the Congress, if still Democratic, to impeach him early in his second term?

Or will you be tempted to just give up on politics and the American people? After all, if they choose him as president, knowing what they now know, what else can you say or do to persuade them otherwise?

Or will you work against the next Trump regime in a different way?

Have you thought about this possibility?

Did anyone watch The Great Hack on Netflix?

If so, what did you get from it?

What should be done about Facebook?

What should the Democrats do about competing in the next election if Facebook is still offering their platform to the Republicans?

Who is Brittany Kaiser? I had never heard of her?

She had helped Obama campaign in 2008 and then went to work for Cambridge Analytica in 2015.

They did not go after every vote - they only went after the "persuadeables". They were small numbers of voters in each precinct of targeted states needed to win Electoral College vote. They were on the fence. They were not very political. They were the people that were targeted with ads over Facebook.

Some guy named Carrol had sued to get his data back from Facebook and was refused.

No doubt, Trump campaign is set to try and duplicate their last campaign again in 2020.

It was very thought-provoking and educational about how your information was collected and the huge amount of information on every person on Facebook, They know when it is the birthday of Rex, the dog of your aunt, the sister of your father, paraphrasing...

How much would Michael Cohen know about Epstein's sex trafficking?

My guess would be that he knows a lot. He probably knows how much Donald Trump was involved in the sex trafficking business? He probably knows that Mr Trump used it as an incentive for his Russian and Saudi customers? He probably understands that it was one of the biggest sex trafficking rings in the world?

But he could never tell. He just wants to get out of jail.

Conspiracy theorists, left and right, have very similar thoughts about Epstein.

Some of them believe Epstein is not dead. It was a "bodyswitch" of some sort?

Others believe he did not commit suicide. He was murdered.

He knew too much about very wealthy and very important people. They had to get rid of him.

They ask similar questions: Why did they take him off "suicide watch"? Why did they move his cell mate out? Why did they not check on him per protocol? How could they let him kill himself?

But where they differ is who they blame?

The Right believes that the Clintons were involved in some way in his "suicide". The Left believes Trump is deeply involved in some way with the sex trafficking. AG Barr is a very suspicious character in the suicide.

The Right believes those involved in the conspiracy are mostly Democrats and liberals, led by Bill Clinton and Bill Richardson. The Left seems to believe it is mostly the wealthy and elite from both Parties, believing they are above the law and they will never be caught.

I fear that a force of evil has been unleashed

If that is not enough hyperbole for you, I think it has been unleashed on the entire world, not just the United States.

I think the only thing that can defeat it is a force for good. It is a battle of darkness versus light. Perhaps you think it is only exaggeration, speaking from fear and paranoia? Perhaps?

In my opinion, it is a force unlike any we have seen since the end of WWII and the beginning of the Baby Boom generation. We have been fortunate in many, many ways.

But, many forces for good have left this world or are soon leaving it. There is a vacuum when they leave us. That vacuum will be filled by evil if we cannot gather the goodness of humankind.

In my opinion, we are witnessing a change in our world. We see it all around the world. Powerful demagogues and criminals are making their move to take over.

We must come together if mankind is to survive.

It is up to us.

There was not as much animosity between Trump and Epstein as Trump has pretended.

In my opinion, Trump and Epstein have remained close thru-out the years.

In 2008, Epstein got a "special deal" from a prosecutor named Alexander Acosta. Human nature would tell us that Trump would not have been happy with that decision if he and Epstein were on the outs.

But, who does Trump hire as his Secretary of Labor after he claims the White House? The one and the same Alexander Acosta!

Was it just a coincidence that the Labor Dept is in charge of combatting human trafficking and Acosta tried to cut the program by 80%? https://www.thedailybeast.com/labor-secretary-alex-acosta-who-cut-deal-with-epstein-tried-to-slash-anti-trafficking-budget

Would Trump have hired the guy that was so close to Jeffrey Epstein, if he was no longer speaking to Epstein and did not consider him a friend?

There is a lot that does not add up with Mr Trump and Epstein.

1964 United States presidential election in Texas

<snip>
The 1964 United States presidential election in Texas was held on November 3, 1964, as part of the United States presidential election of 1964. The Democratic Party candidate, incumbent President Lyndon B. Johnson, comfortably won his home state of Texas with 63.32% of the vote against the Republican Party candidate, Senator Barry Goldwater of Arizona, who won 36.5%, giving him the state's 25 electoral votes and a victory margin of 26.8%.[1] President Lyndon B. Johnson won the 1964 election in a massive landslide, carrying 44 states plus the District of Columbia, which participated for the first time. Goldwater only carried his home state of Arizona along with five Deep South states which had been historically Democratic, but defected to the Republican Party due to the Democratic Party’s support for civil rights.

Texas was almost all blue in 1964.

Have you ever voted for someone you would never vote for again?

I think most people feel they have sort of an investment in a candidate, once they give them their votes. Just as when they donate any amount of money, they are connected to that candidate. It is difficult to get them to ever change their minds and admit they made a mistake.

One time, that I can recall, I voted for someone back in 1990's that I would never vote for again. He was a native American. He was a Democrat. He had worked in the fields with fellow migrants. How could I not vote for him?

He was running against a very popular former Governor. He was a very good Democrat and had proven himself a leader in the Party. But, I thought the other guy was maybe just a little "more Democrat" and more "blue collar".

I even had a small fundraiser for him at my home. We were going to have a native American with some drums, but it didn't pan out.

My candidate won. Soon thereafter, he switched Parties. He became a Republican. I had been played for a sucker. People were asking for their contributions back. It was probably the worst vote I ever made?
