Are Republican women gutless?

Republican men are carrying out a full blown war against women, their
reproductive rights, their livelihood and earning power.
I think this IS the biggest issue this election cycle except for continued
welfare for the rich.

Where are those voices from Republican women or are they all Stepford wives?

I think you're idiots if you continue to vote Republican...nothing
the Repubs want to do is actually good for you, of course unless
you're afraid of losing your country club membership in Dallas.

Julian

Republicans are saying to themselves, yeah this guy made it
coz his grandmother came her illegally. No, he made it coz his
mother gave him the same good upbringing Obama's single mother
his white grandparentsgave him. It's all about upbringing.
Some can afford better upbringing with lots of paid help,
like Romney had, although his nanny would have slapped him
for all his lies.
This is the American story. A person who comes here to make
a better life, for themselves and their families.

The rich corporations have made it with hispanic work. It should
be acknowledged that they wouldn't be as wealthy without that
low-paid work.

We need a black woman...

The first lady will give a great speech but I'm looking for one of those
black women in the audience to talk, the one who has worked her way up
working in the precincts to become a delegate at this convention,
not an easy task. I want that woman to get up and just let it all off
her chest in her own words. She may not believe in gay marriage but she has neighbors
who've helped in a situation and they are gay. She's going to talk
about going to Planned Parenthood because she had no alternatives
to birth control and less expensive family health planning.
I want her, with her funny hat and beads to stand up and tell it like it
is and very clearly talk about what Republicans will do if elected.

Let's get some clear talk and please don't yell into the mike...it's doin'
its job.
Enjoying the coverage on MSNBC. But please fire Matthews.

Akin to Destroy Republican party

You gotta ask yourself...do Republicans want to destroy your life? Take away Medicare, Social Security and any other program you have already paid into? Do you want them deciding any privacy issues you still have? Do you want them, as a party, to decide for you and your body, your ability to vote and have it count? Do you want more years of deficits and huge interest payments, paid for by China and Japan? Do you really want another white stupid man who is only interested in making more money for himself and his pals on taxpayer monies...your money?

I love Akin...he's so politically naive. He believes the stuff he says and SAYS it....so refreshing; we knowing that they all believe the same things but shut up enough not to reveal how truly crazy they actually are.

I never hoped with Obama but at least his normal isn't an eighth as crazy as any Republican pol in this country.

I'm aching to destroy the Republican party and their crazies, rich, poor and stupid alike.

Keep it simple for stupid

We have a lot of bright minds on this side of the aisle, including our
president but I don't hear simple soundbites defining Romney
and now Ryan.

I'm not as political as I was during Dubya's Debacle so you need
to reach me, as well as the millions who just don't care about this election.
(I indeed care and can't believe Obama isn't at least 30 points ahead.)

I am so grateful for an intelligent president who can actually speak the
English language, thoughtfully and truthfully, but frankly we need
"Short and Simple Soundbytes for Dummies."

Get the Mad Men and Women together. Send out the talking points.
All the truth in the world in more than ten words doesn't work now,
despite the thoughtful arguments and breakdown of Romney's lies
and past history of Maddow, Schultz et al.

Bowing to Idiots

For God's sakes, I am so fed up with media pandering to idiots...to Mitt Romney, an idiot,
to homophobics...idiots, to racists...idiots....to uniformed...idiots...ugh. Where is our country?
Where is justice? Truth? Intelligence? Please let them rise to the top again, over greed, pandering,
the self over what is right.
Be offensive, not defensive. Idiots are passe. This country wasn't built entirely on stupidety and
self preservation.

Addio Mr. Vidal

We've lost a great liberal and common sense voice. I hope others will speak and write as clearly from this moment on.

Online dating scam (s)

Yes, I am still doing online dating and hate it for so many reasons, but I keep hoping someone and something real will turn up. I recently was involved in corresponding with a scammer...so am posting this as a warning to those like me who didn't have a clue about it. When you sign up at a new site, you'll often get messages asking for your e-mail address. Don't give it. It usually means the person asking for it hasn't signed up or paid any money to join the site. After first corresponding with one person, you might get quickly rushed with romantic messages, legitimate looking photos and promises. After a length of time, and after you've shared some private information, that person might ask for money. Never send anyone money, especially if you haven't even met that person. It's a scam.

Tip offs...if you can't get a phone number from them or any very personal information, don't correspond anymore and report said person to the website.

I haven't done any research on this stuff, but have to believe it's been reported.

In my American dreams

If I could dream for anything for this country, I'd make voting as accessible as possible. I'd prosecute Bush/Cheney et al for all their crimes. I'd eliminate the Defense Authorization bill that Bush and Obama signed, close down Gitmo and any private prisons in this country or others housing citizens who haven't been charged with any crimes. I'd dream about the whole truth about 9/11 finally coming to public attention. I'd take back all the rights to privacy we've lost over the years. Another dream would be to publically finance elections. No more vote padding and disposal of legitimate votes.

No more wars without public votes of support

I'd dream about more voices speaking up and against injustice, lies and media obfuscation.
I'd dream about a better way to travel, to board airplanes in an intelligent way.

I'll dream about another Obama term, and this time around, with great changes to what Bush/Cheney wrought.
I'd dream about a Supreme Court that was really just, impartial and non-political.

I'd dream about taking our country back from ignorance, intolerance, injustice and lies.

What are your American dreams?

Santorium

While this Republican election circus is amusing and horrifying at the same time,
maybe instead of asking for someone's birth certificate, we should
be asking if any of the candidates have mental health issues. It might
explain something to those of us who are bewildered.
