"Melania's team" response to Grisham (one of few who stayed 4 years) says it all 😆

In response to Grisham's new book, Melania's team has released a statement saying, "The author is desperately trying to rehabilitate her tarnished reputation by manipulating and distorting the truth about Mrs. Trump. Ms. Grisham is a deceitful and troubled individual who doesn't deserve anyone's trust."

Grisham was on YOUR TEAM for FOUR YEARS

Until further notice consider everywhere under a 🚨 FLASH FLOOD WARNING ⚠️

It seems like every time it rains there’s a flash flood warning. This is relatively new. At work we have a weather alert radio with almost constant alerts and we get emails alerting us to flash flood warnings.

I guess I’m asking or wondering how this is more prevalent than it used to be.

I’ve had this brought up at work by others who also think this new to them as well. As my wife and I discussed last night, it used to be if there was a really big rain we just avoided roads near creeks and any water. Railroad tracks are almost always near water. She grew up in a city, like many, on a flood plain.

Doe we have that much more rain? Have we overdeveloped (duh) and not planned drainage correctly? Is there anyway to actually effectively drain with development spreading to formerly vacant areas near water?

It just seems like any rain creates 🚨 alerts and ⚠️ warnings.

Quinnipiac has President Biden at 38% approval. 2.7% MOE.

This isn’t rightwing pablum and it will be broadcast.

President Joe Biden's approval rating hits new low in latest Quinnipiac poll

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2021/10/06/biden-approval-rating-hits-new-low-latest-quinnipiac-poll/6024631001/

Biden’s approval rating has dropped to 38%, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday. That’s down from 42% three weeks ago and from a high of 50% in mid-February.

“Battered on trust, doubted on leadership, and challenged on overall competency, President Biden is being hammered on all sides as his approval rating continues its downward slide to a number not seen since the tough scrutiny of the Trump administration,” Quinnipiac University polling analyst Tim Malloy said in a prepared statement.

While the Quinnipiac poll has Biden at an all-time low approval rating, an analysis of various polls by FiveThirtyEight shows it remains at 44%. That is 6 points higher than the Quinnipiac poll.

The poll surveyed 1,326 adults between Oct. 1-4. Its margin of error was 2.7 percentage points.

Will you need to dial your area code soon? 988 for suicide prevention is why

At least here in 804.

The change comes as the a new quick way to call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is implemented.

Central Virginia’s 804 area will become one of 82 area codes that’s required to use 10-digit-dialing starting on Oct. 24. This means every local call must include the three-digit area code and seven-digit phone number, just as if you were dialing someone with a different area code.

The tradeoff? A potentially lifesaving new phone number.

People experiencing a crisis will soon be able to call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline by dialing 988, similar to how you can call 911.

The new short number for suicide prevention will be available nationally available by July 16, 2022.

In the meantime, people can call 1-800-273-8255

Hey DU! We need to start planning the 🎄 War on Christmas 🎄

I know, last year we were all taking a breather after the election but damn it we need to get going on this. It was either Sun Tzu or Patton who said, “Those who fail to prepare before Walgreens gets their Christmas stuff up is preparing for failure”.

Okay so much of their troops have been redirected to fighting Critical Race Theory dissertations in elementary schools which is either some brilliant work by G2 on our part or just dumb luck. This may help isolate them if we have effective single envelope maneuver.

Now this whole Just In Time inventory collapse is like a weather anomaly but we’ll take. Boy gotta love that capitalism devouring its own commercialization of a holiday. Thank you God!

Anyway, I do think we need to get going on this.
