I doubt Pete Souza would make anything up regarding time of photo taken.
Souza has built up a professional reputation and credibility over many years. I don’t know him but I would imagine if his kind of work puts him in the company of the POTUS, he has to be trustworthy. I doubt he’d put his good name on the line to make something up to flatter trump.
