Showing rare party unity after their midterm election losses
Media still desperately seeking negativity to apply to all things Democrat.
And WHAT midterm election losses???
- A MICROSCOPIC lead for Repubs in the House - which is widely seen as the Coming of Chaos as the new leaders fight with each other over power and positioning.
- A failure of the GOP to flip the Senate - which could be enhanced if we do well in the Georgia runoff next week.
- Yes, we lost a few key players, but we still have plenty of muscle even after the midterms, and Id bet the handful of Dems who did fail to win re-election still have LOTS of access to power, influence, AND a pulpit in a media that craves the luster of big names and famous faces. They wont be out of the spotlight if they choose not to be.
Plus:
- A President whose numbers are improving.
- Multiple sets of bragging rights for everything Biden & Co. have been able to accomplish after a mere two years.
How bout we all be talking about ALL OF THAT instead!
More problems for the GOP better times for the rest of us.
Hopefully itll tie them in nots with endless internal warfare, while we happily proceed to get more done for the greater good.
He's not exactly "Mr. Pizazz." But that's not why Biden appointed him.
Sounds like you need some distance from that sister of yours.
She brings toxicity into your life when you need something far more affirming and reaffirming. Friends you trust most, to confide in, can be tremendously supportive. That pushback can help you resist absorbing her negativity.
I actually had one.
For most of her life she was single. Babysat me a lot when I was little. Really wonderful woman, living, sweet, indulgent of my whims and my various play pretend games.
Last time I saw her was several years later, after wed moved away and had gone back for a brief visit. And shed actually found someone! At long last, in her 60s, I think, shed finally found someone, fallen in live, and got married.
And her whole appearance had changed in the process. Gone was the matron look. Where she never wore makeup, dressed in drab utilitarian clothing, her hair in a tight, severe presentation with a hair net, and those black utilitarian shoes like what the nuns wore.
No more of that! Shed transformed into a pretty woman-of-a-certain-age, dressed in more flattering, colorful, and feminine styles, wore some makeup, and her hair was looser, more softly arranged around her face. She was prettier - and her appearance had become something she cared about more than before. Shed gained some weight, and her whole look was softer and more approachable. Her demeanor was different, too - softer, and even a wee bit coquettish. There was a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye that hadnt been there before.
I was still pretty young then but I immediately noticed a difference. Like a drab unremarkable caterpillar that had turned into a glorious butterfly.
Other obnoxious blowhards who wish they had what they perceive he has.
Power, unlimited wealth, and influence.
And a whole helluva lot of perception management skills. Cunning.
Dupe. Apologies.
Cough it up, Meadows.
Cough it up.
Hes not gonna help you, Meadows. Not one but interested in that. Hes busy trying to make sure hes safely beyond the reach of the long arm of the law. Youre just road kill after he ran his race car over you.
Youre just another casualty of trumps multi-headed war.
Glad he's on OUR side!
