About Me

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.

I'll kick this. It's damned important!!!!!!

"Unions and civil rights groups should identify registered voters without photo identification and take large groups of them to the Department of Motor Vehicles at the same time and shut down the Department Of Motor Vehicles..."

Where the hell are they? Why aren't they massing? Why haven't they done this already?

If the bad guys put up road blocks, then OUR job is to figure out HOW TO GET AROUND THOSE DAMN THINGS!!!

And don't forget ... ... to say that ... ... with ... LOTS ... ... ... of pauses.

Pregnant ... ... ... and otherwise.

What a phony-ass device. And he uses it ad nauseam. It's an attention-getting device, those little pops of dead air in between short bursts of blah-blah-blah. They break the rhythm and yank your ear and demand your attention. It's like un-punctuation (or negative punctuation, maybe). I was watching a clip of his worst-ted-talk-ever yesterday while whatever anchor was talking over it, and found it really rather amusing to observe how many times he spoke three or four words, then his mouth closed. Then three or four more words, then his mouth closed. Then three or four MORE words, maybe a whole sentence, then his mouth closed. It looks like he's still practicing from his debate class manuals or something.

Thanks! I do understand he can split hairs and claim eligibility, but he's still bogus to me.

I STILL think it's time to give this crowd a good dose of birther-ism, right back in their faces. They did it to President Obama. So I'M gonna do it to them. They never shut up about it, so neither will I.

Turnabout is TOTALLY fair play. Taste of their own medicine. See how they like it.

Definitely!!!!

Oh the irony...

LOVE this! Love HIM!!!

He is indeed the Best Uncle EVER!!!! Man enough to do that to make his little niece feel comfortable and happy.

She's never gonna forget this. And as she grows older, it will just mean more and more and more.

(LOVE that little red purse of his in the OP photo!)

TOTALLY THIS^^^^^^^

Thankfully, some of the Dems finally woke up about this.

Taking back the governors' offices in as many red states as possible by the year 2020. Because THAT is when the next census is taken. On the Zero-Years. The Decade marks. 2010. 2020. 2030. 2040... Each of those years is when a new census is taken. To determine population growth and movement. So as to determine who gets how much representation. The Sunbelt will probably gain that much more, just because the so-called "Rust Belt" and other states in the northern parts of our country will lose population. AND, MOST IMPORTANT: The Congressional districts get redrawn, to accommodate the changes in population. THAT is when we MUST have Democrats in key positions. As Governors AND Secretaries of State. Because WE need to control reapportionment. WE need to be the ones redrawing the districts. If the CONS have it, then they gerrymander like crazy and therefore RIG THE GAME.

Our team has been asleep at the wheel about this for WAY too long. Seemed like exactly nobody was paying attention. They sure dropped the ball and stayed asleep in 2010 and look what we got. Teabaggers crawling up the walls like so many cockroach infestations. Some of 'em finally woke up. Hope it's not too late.

That about sums it up for me, Hepburn.

This guy is a sick fuck.

Californian here. Never had one. Probably a good thing.

Sounds like they're horrendously fattening. Delicious as all-get-out, but fattening as hell. It's probably just better all around that I don't know anything about them and never had one. If I did, I'd probably want six or seven more!

I think it's TERRIFIC!!!!

Just desserts. Hey CONS, here! Have some birtherism back atcha!
