O. M. G.

I missed it too!

At least at first glance.

GREAT stunt! Now THERE’S a peaceful protest!

But gimmicks resonate with millions of people.

And we can use a bunch of ‘em.

March 15, 2019

You'd think so, 'eh? They'd have impeached a Democrat a long time ago

and for FAR FAR less.

Oh wait ... they already did.

March 15, 2019

Whoa.

No freakin’ kidding.

When does this END? And when some kind of halt to this truly disturbing time finally occurs, will we ever recover?

My mom had an abusive dad. He was horrible to all his kids. When he died, she told me she looked down into the open casket and thought “you can’t hurt me anymore.”

I’ll never understand how one human being can treat another human being that way.

March 15, 2019

Yeah. No kidding.

I'm glad they made way for a couple of other students

who deserve and would sincerely appreciate going to USC. They evidently didn’t even want to be there in the first place.

March 15, 2019

Update: TMZ says both sisters have left USC.

They didn’t want to go back. Afraid of some pretty severe bullying. Said they wanted to “lay low” for awhile.

Gotta say: I give them credit for doing the right thing. This was the right thing to do. Step aside so two more deserving students can take those places. Don’t know if they did so voluntarily or not. But it’s good that they left. That was the right thing to do.

Lots of learning ahead. For everybody.

Hurts, doesn't it.

Dammit.

March 15, 2019

Sheesh, Eliot - I know how you feel.

It’s so disappointing, what happened. I so clearly remember how I felt that night in November 2008. Wow! We’ve gotten over it. America’s finally gotten OVER it. We had finally conquered our racism. W had finally taken a historic step beyond racism. We’ve grown up.” I was so hopeful and so proud of my country. We just proved to the world that we’re bigger, and better, and beyond that old shit.

Well, that didn’t last long. I remember thinking to myself, maybe it’s still too soon. Maybe we dated to think we were ready but then we woke up the next morning...

So disappointing.

Dammit.

About calimary

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.
