calimary's JournalGeorge Lakoff says DO NOT use "their" wording. DO NOT. It only reinforces that negative framing.

It's freakin' INFURIATING!!! We suck at messaging but our ideas are the best. The bad guys are the best at messaging but their ideas suck.
I do NOT understand why this guy isn't on staff with the DNC. They need to hire this guy and learn from him.
My memory doesn't go back that far, but I had heard of this, too.
History has been very kind to Eleanor Roosevelt, which is good and bad - because it makes one wish she didn't have to wait till after she died to be fully appreciated. Unfortunately, that will be Hillary Clinton's fate, too, I'm afraid.
Oh for Pete's Sake, they're STILL trying to hang some of this on her?
Hasn't it already been disproven? WHY is she still a punching bag?
I remember when the CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald was a guest on Larry King's CNN show
soon after 9/11. He could barely get through the interview. Cried, openly, off and on throughout, over how many of his people had been killed. He was absolutely bereft.
Indeed.
Well, that's one show I won't be watching.
I don't bother with Greta much, either. Her voice is worse than Sarah Palin's!
Shit! I had just opened this page and there's Howard Dean on MSNBC, bringing it up!
Son of a gun!
He said while we can't be sure yet, the Guardian has a very reputable track record, "but if this is true, then trump's presidency is over." Maybe not over in that he's ousted but over in the sense that he's finished with the international community and won't have a smooth time domestically. He said trump is WAY in over his head, and that he (Howard Dean) is surprised that trump has lasted this long. Thought he'd be gone after the first two or three primaries. Dean also said "the water gets hotter an hotter for this guy."
Well, okay then! Let's make sure nothing gets done on it!
After enough of this promise-breaking and fudging on what was promised and dancing around and tweeting about how "Mexico will pay for it later!", I'm guessing that there just might be enough of the trumpkins who decide they've had it with this guy, this is one lie too many for even them to stomach or excuse or swallow or ignore. And at that point, WE get the House back.
All we need is just enough of them to get tired of being toyed with and screwed that they'll stay home with an attitude of "screw you back!" That's all we need.
Several of the groups I have joined since January, like Code Blue and Monkey Wrench Brigade and Indivisible are well aware of nearby districts that can be flipped. Darrell Issa's is one of 'em, for sure - to the south of L.A. Steve Knight's is another, to the north of L.A.
And now, THIS, too, farther north from L.A.:
COUNTY PROSECUTOR ANDREW JANZ SAYS HE'LL CHALLENGE DEVIN NUNES FOR CONGRESS SEAT (from a couple of days ago)
A violent-crimes prosecutor with the Fresno County District Attorneys office is planning to challenge incumbent Rep. Devin Nunes in Californias 22nd Congressional District election in 2018.
Andrew Janz, 33, is launching his campaign Tuesday, touting his prosecutorial credentials and his nearly lifelong connections to the Valley and criticizing Nunes for his close ties to President Donald Trump and concerns over Nunes actions related to an investigation of Russian interference in last years presidential election.
Im not a politician; Ive never considered running for Congress until recently, Janz told The Bee on Monday. Most of the stuff in local and national media has pushed me to get involved, he added, referring to a House Ethics Committee investigation into whether Nunes chairman of the House Intelligence Committee mishandled classified information related to the House Intelligence Committees Russia probe.
I deal with confidential information on a daily basis, Janz said. Im in a profession thats all about ethics.

As soon as I can, I'm gonna start sending him some $$$.
