These fires always happen in miserable heat. Every shot I see of firefighters in their heavy gear having to deal with that - MAN those people do NOT get paid enough!!!

Yeah, no kidding.

Been nervous about it all day. Got some friends down there who had to be evacuated.

We had a pretty serious dog once. And Ernie the cat.

The dog had but one encounter with Ernie. We noticed in the aftermath, the dog bore a bead of blood on his nose. Ernie had taught him a serious lesson, and from then on, that dog deferred to Ernie and scrambled out of the way and got very quiet. We called Ernie "the World's Greatest Dog Trainer." Ernie didn't take no shit.
