We had to change the channel.

He has nothing to say that’s in any way of interest to me. He won’t do anything about the easy access to guns. So nothing he has to say carries any weight or credibility.

Thank you for sharing this with us, backtoblue.

I’m certain it’s been hell to have to deal with and carry this burden. And always second-guess whether you did the right thing.

You DID. You took the best course possible and didn’t do so lightly or casually.

Beautifully put.

Difficult things to weigh, but it sounds to me like this decision was the right one. Indeed, likely the only one.

Wonderful thoughts, RA.

Ouch.

Fits. Makes it more painful.

Hey! Way cool!

Congratulations to pilot, copilot, crew, and their passengers!

And further congrats to Alaska Airlines for being truly equal-opportunity.

That's my President. Still is.

The last President I can recall who not only earned my vote but also earned my trust. And my respect.

Oh, man, Lotusflower 70...

Sending you lots of healing and loving vibes. I’ve found that sometimes it helps to envision the color green. Think about green. Imagine it and see it in your mind’s eye. Green is the color of healing, renewal, rejuvenation, youth, health, reinvigoration. Of Spring - when there’s new growth and sprouting and flowering and the earth awakens and warms back up after the cold dark dormancy of winter.

When my mom had her first really bad heart attack, I did 2 things to keep focused: worked at my job much harder and with as much concentration as possible, and wore a lot of green. It helped me focus.

Yeah, a bit of subjective superstition and mumbo-jumbo for sure. But I found it helpful. And maybe it was a coincidence but my mom pulled through.

About calimary

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.
