The new arrivals ARE successors. Different but equal. Each one with distinctions and uniquities (if that’s a word).

And now we’re back up to three cats. Frankly, the other day, I would have taken the three other kittens that were there, too. Lotta work, and it’s all on me. But it makes me happy.

Sometimes it just makes you feel like an idiot. Still getting choked up over a cat.

And dammit, it happens every time one of them leaves.

And my/our dogs too. They really leave a mark.
