I guess it'll depend on how many republi-CONS survive Election Day.

If they’re licking their wounds and wondering where the first goodbye luncheons are going to be held, then that’s a good thing.

In that case, we have to message AND plan for attacking them on the “Ignoring the Voice of the People” and “GOP is DEFYING/IGNORING the Results of the Election.” “WE Decide. And WE Decided. And they’re STILL Not Listening, America.” Any wonder WHY America chose DEMOCRATS.”

Push their noses into it. Push their faces into it. Start up with a new line of attack ads, even! Let’s NOT be nice.

And why?

Because if they wind up losing, expect - and plan for - them to try to wreck the joint on their way out. They’ll be the “okay! WE’LL Show YOU!” party. So one way we fight that is to make as much noise about what poor sports they are. What pissants they are. How totally and thoroughly UNWORTHY to be given the responsibility of leadership. To be TRUSTED with the responsibility of leadership!

It’s time for the REAL adults to be back in charge.

They would have to be portrayed as unsportsman-like, immature, not ready or worthy to trust with the ship of state. Destructive, selfish, untrustworthy, dishonest, and thoroughly UN-American.

And we need to repeat this again and again.

Because if they lose, don’t forget they’re led by The First Pissant. They’re led by a baby-“man” who’s famous for being petty and vindictive, and will try to destroy everything he can see, on his way out.

And we need to say so. Loud, Clear, and REPEATEDLY!

One SCREAMING clue to this throughout the recent decades:

He surrounds himself with gold. And gold stuff. In his penthouse he had gold drapes, gold furniture, gold chairs with fancy carved scrollwork that looked like thrones, gold carpets. He had photos of himself with Melania wearing a gold dress. He has his hair colored blond (read: gold). And in the Oval Office, floor-to-ceiling gold drapes and, I think, the big oval yellow area rug that, if memory serves, dubya had installed and President Obama kept.

Remember, he’s first and foremost A SHOWMAN. Remember. He made a big dramatic entrance onstage on the GOP CONvention’s nomination night, appearing, backlit, from clouds of fog.
Remember. The staging and trappings and the big-ass Imperial-style military parade he’s yearned for since the Russians helped him steal the White House.
Remember. I remember hearing about his mother being interviewed and saying his dad told him from the time he was still a kid that he was a king.

And his behavior now manifests consistent with the staging and trappings and visual cues - as an individual who wants to be thought of and treated as a king.

Or even an emperor.

But in his case it’s the one with no clothes.

Nope. The California primary was more important.

More so than the national remembrance of a VERY fateful moment in our history.

Ironic, at the very least.

WE are the "establishment."

He uses the word as a negative. And frankly, I resent the hell out of that. Because I support someone else not him? Then that means I’m part of the establishment? I’ve never even run for office. I’ve sent in my little donations and worked with grassroots activists but I’m just another little old baby boomer with white hair.

And I’m sorry, but Bernie Sanders has been a certified member of the establishment in DC since 1991. In the House and then the Senate. And before that he served in office at the state level, becoming part of Vermont’s governmental establishment.

I’m so damn sick of it, dammit. There are honorable people trying to work for the greater public good in that dreaded so-called “establishment.” And all he’s succeeding in doing at this point is sowing division in the ranks, and giving his supporters false hopes for unrealistic goals both on the primary battlefields and in the White House.

I wish he’d stop.

I SOOOOOO get that.

And Joe’s not actually a rich man. He’s the one whose campaign was broke about a week ago. He’s the guy who was singled out for being one of the least well-heeled of anyone in the Senate. He’s the guy who took the train home from DC to Delaware after the inaugural festivities in which he was supposed to participate as outgoing VP in January 2017, with all the other people taking the train home from DC to wherever.

The black community and everyone else who believed in Barack Obama and voted for him twice can appreciate the role Biden played in that presidency. Selflessly and in service. That’s why I’m glad he’s doing well now.

If he prevails we’ll all have a choice between a genuinely good man and a genuinely bad man. And for a majority in the popular vote AND the Electoral College the choice will be simple.

It's not that simple.

One person? And who did they shake hands with? Or bump into? Or cough or sneeze near?

And then, who did THEY shake hands with? Or bump into? Or cough or sneeze near?

And then, who did THOSE people in the next degree down shake hands with? Or bump into? Or cough or sneeze near?

And on it goes, compounding accordingly. And that’s just in and around AIPAC. What else? Who else? Who else did “AIPAC Patient Zero” encounter in the hours and days before AIPAC? And where is that individual now? In quarantine? And how many encounters has this person had with others before he or she was finally identified?

And of all the people “AIPAC Patient Zero” encountered, who did THEY encounter, and where? And where are THEY now?

There’s just a galaxy full of things we don’t know about, regarding this. And it takes TIME to sort out. And some people may not want to face the results.

Especially since we don’t know who among all those people actually DID come into contact with trump (or came into contact with someone who then came into contact with trump). And we all have seen how he doesn’t wash his hands.
