I hope the Harris/Walz rallies start to include Senate and House candidates. Defeating TSF is first priority but without Democratic control of at least one house of Congress, they will be hampered at every turn in acting on their agenda.

Reverse coattails?

Often a winning presidential candidate has a positive impact on down ticket races. I think the Democrats should put a lot of resources into House and Senate races. A strong majority of voters do not want Republicans controlling women’s health care options. This is an issue that is personal and powerful. Most MAGAs are on the record opposing access to abortion and can be pummeled with their own sound bites, votes, social media postings. Project 2025, while hideous and scary is more difficult to weaponize. If we can get voters to the polls to reject anti-choice down ticket candidates, they will be likely to vote for Biden/Harris as well. Roevember!! We definitely want to minimize any coattails that TSF might generate.

One week after TSF's conviction

I have not seen a single upside down American flag. (Eugene, Oregon). Nobody has hassled me despite my Black Lives Matter bumper sticker or Biden/Harris yard sign.
