Atticus's JournalIt seems to me that "making the hard decisions" and essentially writing off some midterm races
as "unwinnable" could become self-fulfilling prophesies.
I have no problem with putting limited contributions where one thinks they will be the most effective, but I wonder if publicly naming those we believe are unlikely winners is helpful.
Would you please consider pledging to do something "inconvenient"?
If Trump is ever allowed back on Twitter, would you please agree to totally abandon that platform and to inform Twitter why you're leaving?

So, internet mentions of "civil war" recently spiked up 3,000% and, according to a recent survey, 54% of Republicans believe there will be another civil war within the next decade.
This is who they are.
I believe them.
Guys, we need a little more of that "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take this
anymore!" attitude about the overturning of ROE.
The fact that none of us men is ever going to need or want an abortion---means diddly shit! Someone we love or care about---or ANY female---should have the RIGHT to CHOOSE to terminate a pregnancy for WHATEVER reason they believe makes that choice appropriate!
No one is entitled to an explanation and no one should be able to overrule her decision about HER BODY!
Just about every one of us influences someone as to what is right and acceptable. White people who openly oppose racism; Christians who call out and criticize anti-semitism; straight folks who defend the LGBTQ community;---all of these folks help hold the line against vile ignorance and, by doing so openly, encourage others to join them in the effort.
Men, the DOBBS decision SHOULD piss you off royally. It's time to make some of that "Good Trouble" about it.

The margin of loss will not matter. The nonpartisan and transparent management of a race will not matter. If the "R" lost, the election will be labelled "rigged" and the litigation and evidence-free accusations will ensue.
We may not know which party controls Congress before baseball's spring training begins.
