Give Trump this as a final offer

Trump gets:

$6 billion for his wall.

We get:

A complete accounting of where the last $1.6 billion we gave him for his wall, almost none of which was spent, was disbursed to.

Complete repeal of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and both Bush tax cuts.

The permanent dismissal of Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. from any position in the United States government.

Lifting of all tariffs imposed or increased by the Trump Administration.

The tax returns and business records of Donald Trump, Eric Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner posted, with Social Security and Taxpayer Identification numbers redacted, on the White House website.

Reform of DACA.

A guarantee that the Affordable Care Act will be restored to what it was on January 19, 2017.

Revocation of all executive orders and regulations enacted since 1/20/17.

Establishment of an agency not staffed by any of Trump's rich friends that will handle contracting for the wall, to ensure none of the money earmarked for it winds up in Trump's bank account.

What's really bad for national security...

...is hundreds of thousands of essential government employees working for free with no idea as to whether they’ll ever see money again.

Reimagining a classic polka for the modern age

We've all heard, and many of us have sung, this classic tune:

In heaven there is no beer.
That's why we drink it here (Right Here!)
and when we're gone from here,
our friends will be drinking all the beer!

But now we're in the Era of Trump, and I think this little ditty deserves a rewrite...

In prison there's no KFC
So go get a bucket for me
Cause when I'm locked up, you see...
You'll all eat chicken without me!

Police officer killed during traffic stop by impaired driver on Christmas Eve

A police officer in Kentucky was killed by a driver allegedly under the influence while she was conducting a traffic stop on Christmas Eve.

Detective Deidre Mengedoht, 32, pulled over a pickup truck in Louisville and was subsequently hit by a different semi-truck.

Conrad said that the suspect, who he identified as 60-year-old Roger Burdette, faces charges of murder and operating under the influence.

Burdette is an employee of the local Metropolitan Sewer Department and was driving one of their semi trucks at the time of the accident, The Courier Journal reported.

Let me guess...Eric Prince for SecDef?

Popeyes introduces "Emotional Support Chicken"

To be sold over the holiday season at the Popeyes stand at Philadelphia International Airport, Emotional Support Chicken is a three-piece chicken tenders meal in a box that looks like a chicken.

Two weird questions for you fine individuals

Doesn't the GOP call what Judge Reed O'Connor did (he's the one who wrote the ruling overturning the Affordable Care Act) "legislating from the bench"?

And doesn't the GOP also say legislating from the bench is a very bad thing?

Having given an evening's thought about the "vegan rap"...

You know, this...thing.

I have come to the conclusion that this atrocity makes one pine for the high quality and production value of Chuggo's magnum opus, "C'mon Fuck a Guy."

Is it too soon to discuss something re. GHWB?

A very large reason the Republicans are as bad as they are, is Poppy Bush's campaign manager Lee Atwater.

Fun way to fritter away a few moments

Fill out online quizzes the way Donald Trump would.
