Three ways to deal with Trump's spying

Way 1: Wait until he really does shoot a man on Fifth Avenue just to watch him die.
End result: While this MIGHT get him locked up, it will result in the death of a man who doesn’t deserve it.

Way 2: Call the cops and tell them you saw Trump selling loose cigarettes in an alley.
End result: “Ma’am, we saw him too. When we found out he was asking $20 for one cigarette we called him the idiot he is and made him go home.”

Way 3: Sic Merrick Garland on him.
End result: “That will work fine. Signed, The Unabomber.”

Question for when Trump finally gets hauled in

Should the DoJ request a search warrant for the rest of Trump’s buildings looking for classified information?

I figure if Trump was using his Florida house as a dead drop location, he was probably using the rest of his buildings for the same thing. We unfortunately missed the opportunity to roll up what was probably the primary one when he sold his DC hotel, but his name is still on a lot of other buildings that would work for the purpose.

I have a small question about Honest Donald's Used Secrets Store of Palm Beach, Florida

The man has been out of office for eighteen months. How is it that he still has any classified documents left? Is he as bad at picking out classified documents to sell as he is at running casinos and mail-order meat companies? I mean, you'd think that the Russians, Chinese, Iranians, Saudis and everyone else he was stealing classified information for would have given him lists of what they wanted.

Because let's be real: you know there's no way in hell he left the White House with only eleven Top Secret documents.

So which one of you was responsible for this?

https://www.thedailybeast.com/lawrence-county-republican-party-in-alabama-says-logo-with-kkk-imagery-was-an-error?source=twitter&via=desktop

The GOP in Lawrence County, AL, is in hot water because over the weekend someone there posted to their social media a version of the Republican elephant where the space between its legs forms very clear little Klan hoods.

Attention right wing: The FBI is the police

The right wingers who are demanding the FBI be defunded because it had the gall to serve a legitimate search warrant on one of the worst criminals in America are the same knuckleheads who went absolutely apeshit when the Antifa folks were talking about defunding the police.

Somehow I find that hilarious.

Remember Dr. Oz's shopping trip?

You know, the one where he went through the produce aisle at Wegman's complaining about the prices?

Well...

Turns out to be a parody account. Still funny.

It must be said about Merrick Garland

A lot of here were all “Garland isn’t doing anything about Trump. President Biden needs to get rid of him and get someone in there who will.”

Then…out of the blue…AG Garland drops a 500-pound anvil on Trump’s overpainted head.

Garland is running the tightest-lipped Justice Department in recent history. Garland is no joke; he’s the prosecutor who put The Unabomber in ADX Florence and who put a needle in Timothy McVeigh’s arm. He is exactly who we needed right now.

Australian news site The Shovel weighs in on the Mar-a-Lago raid

https://www.theshovel.com.au/2022/08/10/the-shovels-view-on-the-fbis-raid-on-donald-trumps-home/

We are certainly no fans of Donald Trump – let’s make that clear from the outset. But yesterday’s raid by the FBI on the home of a former president sets a dangerous precedent.

A precedent which now means that anyone who evades taxes, attempts to undermine an election, sexually assaults women, manipulates the value of their assets, uses state resources to enrich themselves or aids and abets the overthrow of a democratically elected government will be subject to investigation.

I would go to a Dark Brandon movie

Imagine an animated flick where our mild mannered centrist president turns into a superhero when Republicans push him.

A question about prison

Yes, this is a Trump question.

Let’s assume Donald Trump is a criminal. Since everyone here believes he is that’s not far-fetched.

Let’s also assume they aren’t going to just say “he’s old, white and an ex-president so we can’t put him away.”

He is currently in the midst of investigations in Georgia for election violations, in New York for tax violations and federally for stealing classified information. If he is found guilty in all three jurisdictions and sentenced to prison, how do they deal with his incarceration? Will he have to do time in a federal pen, a New York prison and a Georgia prison, or will the two states that want him to make license plates for them just mark his record “time served at a Federal Bureau of Prisons facility”?
